US Open Party 2026

It was a small crowd for this year’s US Open Court Sports event which took place on Thursday, September 3rd. There were some community conflicts that kept a few of the regulars away, but a group of 15 still gathered. Chef Dave prepared a delicious Pizza Bar with a variety of pizzas, salads and peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. There was no tennis competition, but 8 pickleball players competed. Court Sports President William Treichel presented ECC Gift Certificates to the winners. Melanie Little was the women’s winner and Jeff Shew for the men. We appreciate all who supported this event. Plans are to have another Court Sports event around Halloween.
